UltraTax 2025 Tax Season Checklist

Its really important to update you User Preferences in 2025 Source Data Entry. Below are step by step instructions of what to verify:

Open the Source Data Entry application by clicking "Utilities" in the top left of the page:

Then, select "...Source Data Entry" from the dropdown which will open the source data entry application.

Then, in the top left of the Source Data Entry application, select "Setup" then "User Preferences" so you see this popup:

For the Juno <> UltraTax integration to work properly, ensure that everything under "Other" is unchecked, and you have selected "Use Payer's name only" under "Form 1099-B description."

Additional Required UltraTax Settings

In addition to the Source Data Entry setting above, you also need to update a display setting in the main application (not the Source Data Entry tool).

Open UltraTax.

In the top menu, navigate to Window → Display Settings.

On the Display Settings page, locate the Folder block settings.

Set the top Folder block to "Wide".

There are two Folder block areas on this page. Only the top Folder block needs to be set to "Wide." The second Folder block does not impact the Juno Integration App.
